Is there any one out there that can help me find Goombay punch in the Tampa Florida area? I am trying to find some for my girlfriend who is from the Bahamas. I was hoping to get some in time for Christmas. If I can not get it in the Tampa area where else and how would I get some. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help. The Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Nassau, Bahamas is the distributor for Goombay Punch. Call them at 242-323-6933 and ask a sale representative to ship you a case or two. For anyone out there who does not know what goombay punch is it is a very very tasty drink that is (as far as I know) only available in the Bahamas. I have another question....A group of us traveled to the Bahamas for our Senior Class trip in 1985, and now....20 years later, that same group is spread out across the US, but coming to my house for a 20 year reunion. Ever since I was two months old I have been going to Freeport, Bahamas. We have 2 apartments out there. During the most recent hurricane, they were flattened. We haven't been able to go down in almost 1 and a half years now and Goombay Punch is something we've always enjoyed. I too, tried to call the Coca Cola number and she told me the same thing! - And she was not nice about it! THey will not ship it out. I tried the Bahama Sovuineer shop that is up for sale right now on the web....she told me that it is about $50 - $100 a case to ship here and they will not do it for just one or a few cases. I really need some punch for my reunion! If only I knew someone going to take a trip to the Bahamas before September 8th, which is my reunion party! - maybe they would bring me back some! yeah, fanta pineapple as well as sunkist pineapple both tasted nearly identical to goombay punch, and even if for whatever reason you cant get your hands on either of them, path mark and shop rite both make their own pineapple soda, its not quite as good but its pretty tasty.
