Try Cat Island Air. They fly from Nassau to Great Harbour Cay, Sandy Point Abaco and New Bight Cat Island. Call 242-377-3318 for schedules and fares.

Twin Air at the Fort Lauderdale Jet Center (1050 Lee Wagener Blvd., Ft Lauderdale, Fl) will charter you a plane from Florida to Cat Island for $1700 one-way. You can reach them at 954-359-8266.

You can also fly into Nassau and charter a boat or a plane to Cat Island.

Cat Cay is 50 nautical miles from Miami, 60 from Fort Lauderdale and 90 miles from Palm Beach.

You can also fly from Fort Lauderdale to Cat Island with Lynx Air.They fly on thursday,friday and sunday.Round trip is $353.
To me,it seems to be the best option and I use it every year.

When someone visits Cat Island are there homes for rent. I am looking for a home that will accomodate 12 people and have acess to dockage as we will also be renting a boat.

As far as I know, there are no boats for rent on Cat Island. There are fishing and dive charters that operate out of Hawks Nest Marina.

If you are able to spread your group out a little, Hawks Nest has a 2 bedroom/2 bath house they rent as well as hotel rooms, but the house is a pretty long walk (or a short bike ride) from the hotel rooms. For more information check out hawksnest.com.

Try Fernandez Bay Village, just a quick (3 minutes) ride from the airport. It's a lovely family owned resort, small & private, wonderful beach. They have houses available, kitchen equiped, the largest I believe sleeps 6.

Check out their website www.fernandezbayvillage.com - They truly treat you like family & will assist you with anything.
