We are taking our sailboat from MH to Northern Exumas and Eleuthera in April. Have freinds flying into Nassau. Does anyone know how these friends can get from Nassau to Eleuthera, Harbour Island or even somewhere in the very northern Exumas ?

Does anyone know if there are rental beach homes for these folks in either of these places and if we should be able to find something once we get there ?

As for rentals, I don't have anything in mind, but I wouldn't arrive without a reservation. Things are often booked up this time of year.

You can fly into Nassau and take the Fast ferry to Eleuthera . There are no ferryboats running from florida to the out islands. None into Nassau either.

Is it better to take the fast ferry from Nassau to Eleuthera or to take an airplane? It looks like you can take a flight with Southern Air Charter from Nassau for the same amount of money but much less time (25 minutes vs. 4 hours on the ferry) Has anyone flown this route using this airlines?

I am flying into Grand Bahama Island in January and will have two or three weeks in the islands to explore. Can I get a ferry from GBI to Eleuthera and another from GBI to Long Island? I would even take a mail boat if the rides are not tooooooooo long. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN OFFER
