Last week while we were at the Ritz Beach Resort, we were told there was to be a Board meeting on Friday, April 29, to hear the final engineering report & to decide if they will re-build or demolish the Taino Beach Vacation Club. Just got back from Taino Beach on Sat. May 13th. They have done nothing to the Taino. They have opened the check in center which is wonderful. They are working on finishing the new resort rooms at The Ritz. Everything is in bloom and beautiful. Just take bug spray. They were getting more and more active when we left. They plan on tearing down Taino and re-building it. It will probably take around 4 years to get it completed. They are trying to entice current Taino owners to upgrade to the new Ritz 3 units (model is available for viewing).
