Hey, everyone. I plan on asking my girlfriend to marry me, while in the Bahamas this weekend. Does anyone know any sand sculpturers? I would like to have some type of romantic sand sculpture at this beach. Also, where is a good area for this??
Finally, We're staying at the Nassau Beach Hotel, any advice on activities

Sorry, I do not know of any sand sculptors but the chef at the Nassau Beach Hotel may be able to whip up a unique ICE sculpture for you.

A cool solution to a hot concept.

I talked to the Nassau Beach Hotel front desk, and she recommended going to Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island... I'm staying at the Nassau Beach Hotel. (I've decided to nix the sand sculpting, although the ice sculpting is a cool idea).

Does her recommendation sound like a good idea? Anybody else have any other ideas?

I'm not sure about the wedding packages at the Nassau Beach Hotel, but I am familiar with the wedding packages at the Radisson (I got married there). Assuming that it's similar, you can contact the hotel and talk with a wedding consultant who will make virtually ALL of the necessary plans for you (except the license part - you have to make trip to downtown Nassau for that). Our wedding was so well organized that all we had to do was show up. They provided the cake, champaign, photographers, music, flowers....everything! It was fabulous. If you are not committed to staying at the Nassau Beach Hotel, I would highly recommend the Radisson. Congratulations!

My Daughter got married in April 2005 at the Wyndham hotel in the Gazebo on the beach.Denise Bastion the co-ordinator did a great job ,organized the flowers ,J.P ,all the paperwork, champagne toast the works, everything went off without a hitch and did'nt break the bank doing it ,I would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding.
We had an after wedding dinner at Montague Gardens they had a free shuttle to and from the hotel and restaurant, and the meal and service was excellent we had a private party on the patio it was great (contact catering manager Cindy Darbo ).Best of luck.
