We are visiting Nassau this weekend. We are still not sure if we should rent a car or not. Car rentals seem to be expensive about $50 a day for an Intermediate car. We were wondering if it is worth renting a car on Nassau roads. May be Scooter is a better idea. We don't know the rates for renting a Scooter.
Could anyone please share your experiences? We are first time visitors from Boston.

Unless you are staying in some out-of-the-way place, or intend on visiting areas far from the tourist centres (not a good idea), I can't imagine you needing a car. Taxi or jitney bus fares for the week wouldn't equal what a car rental would cost for one day.
