Yes, metal detecting and even treasure hunting is legal here. You pretty much get to keep what you find unless it is an antique artifact of some kind, or actual pirate's booty. Admin ?? do you know if permits are required on Grand Bahamas Island to metal Detect on the beaches??? Do you live on the Islands??
