Bahamas Vacation and Travel page. I am embarrased by the fact that I asked about Nassau condition earlier today. I had been told that the storm was done there and had moved past. When I called Wyndham it was if the storm was no big deal.
A friend just explained to me that that is the Bahamas attitude, nothing is a big deal and that is why the rep poo poohed it off.

I am sure the rep at the Wyndham was not "pooh-pooing" the situation, as much as trying to make you feel comfortable about coming down.
They are good people at the Wyndham. They will go out of their way and bend over backwards to make sure that your expectations are met, especially under these trying circumstances.
But there is little anyone here can do about the weather, which is not currently what one would expect when visiting Nassau.
