I have been to Freeport and to Nassau. They were both great but our last trip was to Long Island (part of the family islands) and it was more than impressive. I have never in my life experienced such friendly people. We could not go more than five minutes with out having someone wave or introduce themselves to us. When I returned to the states it was much more apparent that we had just experienced something incredible. The Resorts (Stella Maris and Cape Santa Maria) were beautiful. There are no casinos or people begging to braid your hair but there was no shortage of activities. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice vacation away from their day to day hustle.
