Any guesses as to how long its going to take to repair the Club med on San Salvador? Last I read the government said 2 months but Club med says they are reopening on October 2. Im suppossed to be landing there on October 16. Any one with any first hand knowledge?

Not sure where you received the information saying that Club Med would re-open October 1.

The official word is that they will be closed for 12 weeks, which would make their re-opening sometime in the beginning of December.

This has been confirmed by Club Med, the Government and the Bahamas Hotel Association.
