October 21st is International Day of the Nacho!
Nachos were originally called “Nacho’s Special” because they were invented by a man named Nacho. Ignacio “El Nacho” Anaya prepared an inventive dish for his usual customer consisting of fried tortilla chips, melted Colby cheese, and pickled jalapeno slices.
