New Mystic M5200 Center Console Leading Bahamas Fling

With boats from various manufacturers in the fleet, the Eleuthera Bahamas Extended Fling organized and promoted by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism departed yesterday from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with something new in the mix. The latest M5200 center console from Mystic Powerboats of DeLand, Fla., led the pack as the “Official Boat” for the event, which runs through July 19.

Mystic company owner and founder John Cosker and his team worked for several weeks with Bahamas tourism officials for weeks to solidify the deal.

“We’re excited to be part of this event,” said Cosker before he departed. “The Bahamas are among our favorite destinations.”

The islands will provide provide a worthy backdrop for hull No. 6, which boasts an extra-long cabin. Two weeks ago, Cosker and his wife, Robin, ran the new 52-footer from New Smyrna, Fla., to St. Augustine, Fla..

They stayed onboard for the night and returned the following morning.
