Transforming Spaces is an annual art tour that takes place in Nassau, The Bahamas, over a weekend in March. This year’s tour will be held on March 13th and 14th. Participants are driven via bus to several visual art spaces, with a knowledgeable tour guide on board. Every space has been transformed specifically for this event and each will exhibit the work of various artists.
Transforming Spaces is an Art Tour for both local Bahamians and tourists that takes patrons via bus to a varied selection of visual art spaces around New Providence. Each of the nine spaces selected for this year’s tour have been “transformed” specifically for the event.
The Transforming Spaces 2010 Art Tour can be taken on either Saturday, March 13, or Sunday, March 14, 2010.
The tour, in its sixth year, allows patrons to visit the transformed spaces and interact with artists of various disciplines.
There will be 10 buses for Transforming Spaces 2010, each being driven with the assistance of a knowledgeable Art Tour Guide. Patrons will gather at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas, promptly at 10:00am, on either of two days, March 13 & 14. The tour runs until about 3:00pm.
Light refreshments will be served at several of the venues.
