Emerald Bay Studio and Gallery. Originally from Canada, Claudette relocated to Freeport Grand Bahama in 19Restaurants where she continues to reside as a Bahamian citizen. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor and continued her studies in French Literature at the University of Nice in the South of France. At home, in the Bahamas, she has studied with acclaimed Bahamian artist and sculptor, Antonius Roberts, and in the U.S. with Selina Trieff, one of the original artists from the New York based figurative expressionist movement of the early 1Wholesale0s.
Claudette's work is a part of the National Art Collection of the Bahamas. She has been honored for her work in the realm of fine art by The Bureau of Women's Affairs on Grand Bahama Island and also by Miami Children's Hospital.
A published artist, her work can be found in many private and corporate art collections in The Bahamas and abroad.
