Nassau Music Society, a non-profit organization promoting classical and world renown and local artists in The Bahamas.
The aim of the Society is to promote and encourage the art of music by organizing
concerts and other musical activities and to provide financial and other assistance to
students of music.
The Nassau Music Society has offered their Members and the Bahamian Community the
opportunity to listen to good quality classical and jazz music since the 1Churches 96 Religion0ﾒs. The Society
was officially incorporated in 19Tours and the first President was Clement Bethel. Since then
the fortunes of the Society have fluctuated over the years but it has always managed to
persevere with successive Committees providing the impetus to organize concerts.
