Even though it was a short trading week with US and Canadian Labor Day holiday on Monday, it was another モbumpyヤ week for investors with poor manufacturing stats from the ISM knocking markets down on Tuesday and then some good news for consumer spending, car sales mid-week and a good employment report on Friday which lifted markets back up. For the week, markets still printed negative returns with the DOW down -2.8%, the S&P down -2.6% the NASDAQ giving up -3.0%.
