According to police press liason Officer Superintendent Hulan Hanna Sunday, the suspect was arrested late last week in connection with the crime.
On October 31, an intruder reportedly entered the couple’s Westridge home, tied up the Reverend Stewart and took his wife downstairs where he allegedly assaulted her.
The Reverend’s three children were also at home at the time of the attack. However, it is reported that the eldest of the three, a teenager was unaware of the attack until police were contacted.
