Doctors Confident In Rassin

Board of Directors of Doctors Hospital Health System Limited have expressed their “full confidence” in the leadership of Barry Rassin, Chief Executive Officer. They took this stance in response to an article written in the February 17, 2003 edition of The Guardian Business Section, that Mr. Rassin is being pressured by dissenting board members to resign in the face of financial difficulties.

A reliable source said that the Western Medical Plaza, a subsidiary of Doctors Hospital, is facing closure due to financial constraints.

And, that CEO Mr. Barry Rassin is being forced to step down.

However, Mr. Rassin refused to comment on the matter when initially contacted by The Guardian.

On Wednesday, board members, in a brief statement, threw their support behind Mr. Rassin.

“We support him fully during this very difficult time in the history of Doctors Hospital Health System Limited,” they said.
