Web junkies beware! McDonald’s may have come up with a way to keep you eating combo meals.
Beginning tomorrow, the fast food giant is testing free Internet access with the purchase of a fries, drink and sandwich combo in ten Manhattan stores.
Spokeswoman Lisa Howard says they plan to offer the deal in 300 stores by the end of the year.
The test marketing starts in New York, Chicago and a yet-unannounced California city. Purchase of the meal will get you one hour of high-speed Internet access. After your hour’s up, you can buy more time at $3 an hour…or keep buying combo meals.
The new program is a joint venture with Intel and computer make Toshiba.
