An employee at the Bahamas Telecommunications Company and a Jamaican immigrant were charged in Magistrate’s court yesterday after police discovered that a telephone had been installed, allegedly illegally, in the foreigner’s home to make almost $18,000 worth of overseas calls.
Hillard Charlton, as an employee of BaTelCo is facing a charge of abetment to obtaining credit by fraud and Thresa Warren of Jamaica, is facing a charge of credit by fraud.
