New Level For The Bahamas

On completion of Kerzner International’s Phase III expansion, the resort can expect to attract an additional quarter of a million visitors a year and locally create 3,000 new jobs.


These figures contained in an independent economic impact study, commissioned by Kerzner International, also revealed that the project will contribute about three to four per cent annually to the country’ GDP. Over the first 15 years the total economic benefit would be $4.4 billion in GDP.


The impact study alsos howed that as the largest private sector employer and investor in The Bahamas, Kerzner International’s resort will add about $20 million a year in tax revenue for government and a total of 4420 million over a 15-year period.
