Popular broadcaster Dr Paul Reilly claimed yesterday he was the victim of "censorship and victimisation" after his daily radio programme was axed by ZNS.
His "Time To Think' programme was dropped after station chairman Calsey Johnson "personally voiced his displeasure" at some of the things he had said on air.
The move was a case of history repeating itself. For Mr. Johnson was general manager of ZNS when Mr. Reilly's programme was last dropped by ZNS in 1982.
On at least two occasions Dr. Reilly has said things on his programme that the government disliked.
On one occasion he criticised Neil Ellis for "un-Christian" conduct in threatening to expel members of his church who failed to vote PLP.
He was also taken to task for criticising a woman senator during a programme dealing with the "negativity" of politics.
