An island settlement was in shock last night aftera two-year-old boy was rushed to the local doctor by his family with a knife sticking out of his side.
The child, Prince Campbell Jr., was already dead when seen by a nurse and becomes the country's 18th homicide victim of the year.
Police said the boy was stabbed during a frenzied attack which also left his mother and teenage stepbrother badly injured.
They were both airlifted to the hospital in Nassau, where they remain in serious condition.
Last night the dead boy's father, Prince Campbell Sr., 40, was helping police with inquiries into the incident, which happened in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The triple stabbing happened in Nicholls Town, Andros, where the family is well-known.
