1981 Case Reopened

Twenty-two years after the case was officially closed on the disappearances of Mitchell Baptiste, George ‘Kippy’ Lewis and Brian Pennerman in May 1981, Police Commissioner Paul Farquharson has requested that their files be reopened.

Supt. Basil Rahming of Grand Bahama told The Tribune yesterday that the commissioner has addressed the case and the more recent May 2003 disappearances of Jake Grant, Mackinson Colas and DeAngelo.

According to a 1981 coroners inquest into the disappearances of Mitchell, George and Brian it was concluded that they drowned in a bluehole in Hunters, Grand Bahama.

The family members of the boys believe that all six of them are alive and were abducted by the same person. tehy believe the children, who range in age from 11 to 13, have become victims of a satanic cult, child sex beast, or exchanged on the “black market”.
