MP Sidney Stubbs Rips Off Elderly Woman

In what can only be construed as a blatant attempt to steal money from an elderly woman, it has been revealed that MP Sydney Stubbs, the embattled Chairman of BAIC, owes a woman over $50,000 from a Supreme Court judgement against him, made way back in 1966.

Mr. Stubbs has made no attempt to re-pay the woman despite being ordered by the court to do so, over thirty years ago.

Now lawyer Wayne Munroe is suing Mr. Stubbs, on behalf of his unamed client, for the original $55,000, plus interest, that brings the total amount up near $100,000..

One wonders how Mr. Stubbs can credibly be expected to lead the country’s entrepreneurs, as head of BAIC, when he displays little respect for the law and apparently has no business ethics or morals.

Stubbs has also been accussed, by another MP no less, of squandering BAIC money on lewd and lacivious parties with his homosexual friends. PM Perry Christie chose not to investigate the matter despite hard evidence that the accusations were accurate.

The debt that Mr. Stubbs has reneged on was not listed in his financial disclosure, made prior to the 2002 elections, which is a violation of election rules and may subject him to perjury charges if Attorney General Alfred Sears decides to pursue the matter.

It is unlikely that Mr. Sears would pursue the matter as it would open up numerous other instances of criminal behaviour on the part of many other MPs. Mr. Sears has been criticised publicly for being incompetent and doing nothing in other cases of blatant criminality and injustice on the part of lawyers, judges and Parliamentarians.

In the event of no action by the Attorney General, Lawyer Munroe has indicated that private prosecution in the matter may be his client’s only recourse and has not been ruled out.
