German investor Harald Fuhrmann has launched a new sweb site geared towards discouraging investors from coming to The Bahamas and tourists going to the Kerzner International property on Paradise Island.
The investor has added the soon to be launched, badworld.net.tc, to the list of the other 20 sites he has authored heavily criticising The Bahamas and its people.
He sees these sites as obtaining justice for him after being cheated in a decade-long wrnagle with local lawyers over what he alleges is their mishandling of a property dispute.
Mr. Fuhrmann, who claims he has suffered more than ten years of stress at the hands of the country's legal system, held a press conference yesterday to outline his grievances and to announce the launching of a new web site to warn off other investors.
"The Bahamas government is talking about the outpouring of national pride in these days due to the 30th anniversary of the Independence at the 10th of July, 1973, but this is quite different to what tourists and foreign investors are saying about this little island nation," Mr. Fuhrmann claims.
He claimed that most Bahamian lawyers have an international reputation for corruption and incompetence.
Mr. Fuhrmann criticised Attorney General Alfred Sears and Prime Minister Perry Christie for not acting against what he alleges is widespread corruption.
