Grieving relatives were yesterday mourning a fun-loving woman who has died in hospital after being savagely beaten with a baseball bat.
The woman, who was said to have previously been beaten so badly it affected her speech, died in the intensive care unit at Princess Margaret Hospital on Tuesday night.
The victim, 49-year-old Carolyn Hall of Eleuthera was flown to Nassau for emergency treatment. Her death brings the country’s homicide count for the year to 28.
