Emerson will use its power technology to replace power plants at 14 sites in the Bahamas, including the four main islands and some in the smaller keys. The network will protect against power interruptions and reduce operations and maintenance costs, Emerson said.
Installation is expected to be completed by late summer or early fall, the company said.
St. Louis-based Emerson manufactures appliances and tools; electronics and telecommunications equipment; industrial automation and process control systems; and heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment.
