Customers in High Rock, Freetown and Bevanᄡs Town can sign up for services immediately and installations are expected to commence by Friday, November 7.
Grand Bahama and Abaco General Manager Erik Russell said that the company has been focusing work over the past three months to make this major extension possible. “The residents in these areas of east Grand Bahama will soon be able to enjoy all of our cable TV services,” Mr Russell said. “This was made possible because of our extension to our fibre optic network.” Mr Russell noted that resorts in these areas have already signed up for service to enhance their offerings to their guests.
Residents in these settlements will have access to Cable Bahamasᄡ 53-channel basic cable TV service, 27 channels of premium subscription packages, the SelectVISION 10-channel pay-perview movie and special event service, and DMX Music which offers 40 channels of commercialfree digital music.
