It is believed that a “deranged” culprit broke and entered a complex that houses several businesses, including two government offices, a restaurant and a liquor store in Lower Bogue over the weekend.
Purple May Restaurant, owned by Glen Albury and his wife, was broken into and the cash register containing $1,000 was stolen.
Both the Ministry of Finance and Social Services offices were broken into as was Butler and Sands.
