Mr. Carl Brennen, the Minister’s Undersecretary, confirmed that the rented bleachers had been returned. Cabinet now has to decide whether the bleachers will be rented or purchased this year, who will provide them and at what cost.
The Ministry’s efforts will obviously be focused on not making another million dollar mistake.
Minister Wisdom came under serious pressure earlier this year to resign after a report revealed that 1.2 million was lost in the temporary acquisition of last year’s bleachers, and the Ministry owed government $838,590.
