FNM Eight Mile Rock MP Lindy Russell in the House of Assembly yesterday, condemned remarks made by Works and Uyilities Minister Bradley Roberts last week when he branded Tribune publisher Eileen Carron “the terrorist of Shirley Street”.
During last Wednesday’s meeting of the House, Mr. Roberts described Mrs. Carron as one of the “reigning practitioners of terrorist behaviour” and The Tribune as her “weapon of mass destruction”.
Mr. Russell’s response to Mr. Roberts’ criticism came during his contribution yesterday to a Bill for an Act to implement the United Nation’s Convention to prevent and combat terrorism.
