Cat Island businessman Rudolph Harte, Russell’s co-conspirator, was sentenced to one year in HMP and a $50,000 fine.
The men were appealing a 1990 conviction of conspiracy to smuggle cocaine.
Yesterday’s ruling brought to end a13-year battle to have the convictions overturned.
