FREEPORT – Anthony Ellis from South Wales, a guest at Woodbourne Estates, was at the Xanadu Beach in Freeport around 2:50pm Tuesday when a dark man snatched his handbag off the ground, containing a Seiko watch, a digital camera, a video camera, $120 cash and 160 British sterling.
The culprit got into a red car and sped off. Mr. Ellis was able to catch up with the vehicle. He attempted to jump inside, but fell to the ground and the vehicle rolled over his feet causing minor injuries.
