Renewed Faith’ In Hotel Talks

Negotiations went ahead with a “real willingness to explore fresh and creative avenues” according to inside sources.


The Bahamas Hotel Catering and Allied Workers Union and the Bahamas Hotel Employer’s Association had previously been deadlocked in their efforts to thrash out a new industrial agreement.


Minister of Labour and Immigration Vincent Peet chaired the “face to face negotiations” in an effort to break the 16-month deadlock.
