Restaurant Robbery Terror

At 1:45am just as employees were preparing to close the restaurant, two gunmen, faces covered with scarves, entered.

All employees were ordered into the kitchen and forced to lie on the ground as the men emptied the cash register.

One man was described as about 6’3″ in height and the other about 5’6″.

The first has a shotgun and the other a handgun.

About ten minutes later a home-owners dog got involved in an armed robbery, which resulted in the dog being shot to death while his owner escaped with his life.

Leo Russell told police he had just arrived home when he was approached by an unknown man.

The man, armed with a gun, held him up and took his cash. However, Mr. Russell’s potcake tried to intervene. The gunman shot and killed the dog.
