The statement comes in response to recent allegations of people being ‘mishandled’ while in police custody, or while police were carrying out their duties.
Eleven such matters are before the police tribunal.
Officers whose conduct is inconsistent with the rules and regulations must ‘face the music’ said police spokesman Supt. Hulan Hanna.
