Beach Bash Ends In Fracas

Trevor Davis, owner of Alpha Sounds Promotions, said around 2000 people paid between $10 and $15 to attend Saturday’s event, which was broadcats live on radio 100 JAMZ. It began at 3pm and was to go on until midnight but organisers decided to close the event for safety reasons at 8:45pm.

Mr. Davis said the organisers did their best to provide a safe environment, with barriers, searches on entry and security provided by 20 hired police officers and 20 other security guards.
