Troy Edward Clarke of Windgate Drive, off Carmichael Road, was charged with one count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a child and one count of attempted unlawful intercourse with a child.
Court reports allege that Clarke had unlawful sexual intercourse with the female on Tuesday, July 13, 2004.
It is also alleged that Clarke attempted to have unlawful sexual intercourse with the young girl sometime between June and September 2003.
Clarke was not required to plea and was granted $20,000 bail to surety for each count.
The case has been adjourned until September 22, 2004.
