A young woman was raped in her bedroom on Tuesday evening when her assailant forced his way into her home.
Although investigations are still at an early stage, police are believed to have information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the man responsible.
This incident follows Saturday night’s rape, when a 49-year-old woman was sexually assulted in her home and robbed of $820 in cash.
The intruder, who was naked and had bags tied over his feet and head, also forced his way into the woman’s home. Police are not connecting the incidents at this stage.
