CHA Partners Up To Launch a Caribbean Career Center

North Vancouver, BC οΎ– Hcareers, the dominant job board for the hospitality industry worldwide has recently entered into a special partnership with the Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA), the leading hospitality and tourism association for the Caribbean community.

As part of the agreement, Hcareers has offered to build and power the Caribbean Hotel Association’s online Career Center. This partnership provides 13,500 Caribbean Hotel Association members including hotels, airline executives, tour operators, travel agents, hotel and restaurant suppliers, and many other hospitality industry employers, with access to the largest pool of International hospitality professionals.


“Our newly created online Career Center is a valuable member benefit,” Alex Titcombe, Director Product Development & Operations, Caribbean Hotel Association said. “This recent alliance with Hcareers will help our members lower their recruitment costs, shorten their hiring cycle, and provide immediate access to the largest pool of International hospitality candidates. Hcareers is the perfect fit for the Caribbean Hotel Association and we are looking forward to a long lasting relationship.”


CHA members will be allowed to post hospitality job vacancies on Hcareers, at a discounted rate. An estimated 750,000 visitors per month use Hcareers to look for hospitality related employment.


Job seekers will be able to search through over 48,000 worldwide hospitality job vacancies posted on Hcareers in the last 45 days, at no charge. The site also allows resumes to be posted in the online resume database currently comprising of some 42,000 resumes. The site also allows for online replies directly to employers.


According to a release by CHA, this relationship comes at a time when Caribbean travel and tourism employment makes up 15.5 per cent of total Caribbean employment, or 1 in every 6.5 jobs, with a projected increase over the next 10 years.


Expressing pleasure at the newly formed relationship, David Curry, president and CEO of Hcareers said: “We are very pleased to have entered into an agreement with the Caribbean Hotel Association. Job postings will benefit from three times the exposure as not only will they appear on Hcareers (www.hcareers.com), but also automatically appear on several other career centers also powered by Hcareers, including the Caribbean Hotel Association’s Career Center (http://www.caribbeanhotels.org), and the International Hotel & Restaurant Association’s Career Centre (http://www.ih-ra.com ).
