Exuma Resort Issues Need To Be Addressed

The team of government officials meetingwith employees at the at Emerald Bay resort in Exuma yesterday morning have said that there are a number of issues at the resort between workers and management which need addressing immediately.

As for employee allegations that the management has resorted to using racial slurs and “racist practices”, Exuma MP Anthony Moss, who was among the group meeting with the employees, told The Tribune yesterday that far too many employees have given the same complaint for it not to be considered a real concern.

“The union has blown the situation up a little, but we have made promises to employees that we will address some particular issues and we will,” said Mr. Moss.
