Bahamas: Talk Gets Cheaper

In “an effort to show how much the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) values its customers,” long distance rates have been reduced by as much as 70 per cent – for 120 days.

Editor’s Note: There are some who think there’s more behind these recent price cuts than goodwill.

The long distance promotion, to run until February 3, 2005, was announced Thursday in the boardroom of BTC’s JFK Drive offices by Michael Symonette, company prewsident and CEO.

The promotion affects customers who use wire line, wireless prepaid and postpaid, Bahamas Direct calling cards, phone debity cards as well as 1-800-numbers.
