Movie ‘After The Sunset’ Boosts Bahamas Tourism

[Hollywood News]The tourism industry in the Bahamas has much to thank Pierce Brosnan, for his new movie “After the Sunset” is set to spark a British tourism boom in the country.

According to the Daily Mail, the film starring Woody Harrelson and Salma Hayek, has been shot at the 2,300-room Atlantis resort on the island with its flagship suite, the Bridge Suite playing a key part in the film.

Tourism chiefs are expecting a surge in UK visitor interest in the resort which will offer visitors a movie tour to see where scenes were shot. However those wishing to stay in the luxurious suite will need to pay around 14,000 pounds a night.

‘We’re expecting a lot of interest from UK movies fans and holidaymakers who can now effectively visit a Hollywood film set,’ a spokeswoman was quoted as saying.
