According to Police Inspector, Walter Evans over the last several days the two suspects were spotted joyriding in a silver Nissan Sunny in the Carmichael Road area, posing as police officers to predominately Haitian nationals.
Police says around 8pm a vehicle fitting the description was spotted.
In the end, a 23-year-old male resident of Yamacraw Estates and a 26-year-old of Marathon Estates were arrested in connection with the incident.
Meantime, a man recently arrested for trying to board a U.S. bound cruise ship with cocaine strapped to his legs pleaded not guilty to smuggling charges in a Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Prince Brice, a 33-year-old resident of Freeport, Grand Bahama was released on $30,000 bail.
Brice was arrested Monday as he tried to board the Discovery Sun Cruise Ship bound for Ft. Lauderdale.
Police spotted a bulge around the accused calves and searched him.
It was at that time that officers found two kilos of cocaine with a street value of an estimated $60,000.
