Bahamians seem to be using any means at hand to injure others in bustups. At the end of last year, a young girl had acid thrown on her in a fight. And at the beginning of this year, a group of people were purposefully run over by a car, leaving one of them dead.
If that is a sign of things to come, then 2006 will not be a good year for this country.
The level of violence in The Bahamas is scary. As a college graduate, I am sorry I returned to The Bahamas to face being raped or murdered.
