A man was gunned down in front of his home on Friday night, bringing the number of murders to 12 for the year.
Angelo Strachan, 40, had just arrived at his home on Zion Boulevard in the South Beach area at llpm when he was shot by an unidentified man.
"He had just pulled into his driveway and exited his black Dodge Ram 1500 when he was accosted by a lone gunman," Chief Supt Marvin Dames, head of CDU, said yesterday.
The man reportedly opened fire on Mr Strachan without provocation.
"He was hit several times about the body and collapsed in his driveway, where he died," Mr Dames said. Police are investigating.
