Santiago de Cuba, May 12 (Prensa Latina) Business people from Colombia, Italy, Spain, Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Holland and Germany have confirmed their attendance at the 14th Commercial Fair, ExpoCaribe 2006, to be held June 18-23 in Santiago de Cuba.
Since its first edition in 1992, this event has become the second most important for commercial exchange, after the traditional Havana International Fair, and has ratified its commitment for economic links between the region and the rest of the world.
Carmen Rodriguez Avila, delegate of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, praised this unique opportunity for Latin American and European representations and said she expects that more, and first time companies will register to participate.
The first International Meeting of Mango Producers will surely be one of the fair’s main attractions as participants will exchange on the fruit’s nutritional and therapeutic properties.
