Missing Man’s Body Found In Waters Off PI

Police said a resident of the property discovered the body around 10am.

According to police, Smith was reported missing by co-workers who had accompanied him on a boat cruise on Saturday night, but could not find him following the excursion.

Police press liaison officer Inspector Walter Evans told The Bahama Journal that the body was discovered in good physical condition.

“He may have been on a boat cruise, but what we can confirm is that he was reported missing on Saturday past,” Inspector Evans said. “It is believed that he may have been in the water probably about a day.

“Foul play is not suspected based on what we are seeing; he may have suffered bruises just to the facial area.”

Family members who rushed to the scene of the discovery described Smith as a caring, friendly, family man who got along with everyone he met. He was also described as one who was known to stay away from trouble.

As his body was lifted onto the dock, some 15 to 20 family members looked on, many of them wailing. Some of them also termed Smithメs death “suspicious”.

The family believes that the three female co-workers Smith went aboard the boat cruise with may have vital information as to what may have lead to him ending up overboard.

Smithメs uncle, Ernest Moss, said that the family is seeking answers to exactly what happened on the night in question.

“I know my nephew; he wasnメt the type of person you would say would go out and bother people,” Mr. Moss said. ” Weメre only asking for answers.”

He added, “If the ladies were there and they saw the incident and what happened and they were afraid, we will feel justice if they come forward and say what happened. Thatメs all we are asking for. We are not going to rest until we find out what happened.”
