Saiph Consulting Group Ltd. (SCG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Saiph Communications Ltd. has signed an agreement with Montana Holdings Ltd. to design and procure all aspects of the communication infrastructure for a $500m development on the Bahamian island of Rum Cay. The agreement will cover the underlying network and all services including internet, telephony, television, entertainment and security services, including associated billing services.

The Rum Cay Resort Marina will be a luxury development catering to very demanding and sophisticated visitors said Montana Holdings COO, Thor Ibsen. Part of this experience will be state of the art communications services, using cutting-edge technology. Saiph has been selected because of its broad knowledge of the VOIP market and its track record in pushing the boundaries of VOIP capabilities.
The Rum Cay Resort Marina development will commence this year and will provide a modern airport, a marina, a marina village, hotels, villas, condominiums, retail support services and all associated utility services with a business quality triple play of, internet, VOIP and TV delivered over the same IP network. These facilities together with data centre services, including an ISP, web hosting, storage and back-up will be integrated into a total interactive system. All of these facilities will be interconnected to the broadband submarine fibre optic network currently being installed around the Family Islands of the Bahamas, by Bahamas Telecommunications Corporation.
